Public meeting in Athlone to discuss job creation in renewable energy

A State agency is to host a meeting in Athlone this week to look at promoting job creation in renewable energy in rural Ireland.

Ballina Young Fine Gael commended for participation in democracy

Those were the words of Deputy Michelle Mulherin when she addressed the members of the Ballina branch of Young Fine Gael at its recent AGM. The members, whose age range is from 15 to 30 years, were given an address on a number of local and national issues by Deputy Mulherin. In particular, she noted that the economic outlook was promising and that the future prospects for school-leavers and graduates were good.
